2020 - A serious test
2019 - Can tinder really work?
Declan and Faith began dating on June 13, 2019. A very brief banter on Tinder turned into five hours straight of good chats over dumplings and drinks.
This is their first picture together as a couple, taken at the circus on their fourth date. They both yelled like idiots at the acrobats.
A trip planned long before they met would see Faith travel the world right before the first COVID lockdown, visiting amazing destinations all across South America.
Since she’d be busy travelling while Declan finished work on his first TV show, they had planned to keep things casual until she returned.
Five-hour-long phone calls would quickly prove that a stupid idea…
Little did they know their whole world was about to change…
And like any good story, you don’t stop just as it’s getting good!
Shortly afterwards, Faith gave birth to their beautiful baby girl Billie (otherwise known as Billie-wah).
Skittish, (lovingly) stupid and speaking exclusively in “Waahs!”, she looked up to her older brother in great admiration. That is, until she came of age and the pair began treating their parent’s apartment like a UFC cage in the wee hours of the morning.
The back-half of 2020 would see the pair doing their utmost to make up for lost time. Declan began working full-time on developing his own work, while Faith went full send between working her office job, setting up her market stall, and learning trendy new hobbies like rollerskating and hula-hooping.
Fresh off the plane from Chile, Faith and Declan decided to move in together. The pair spent a few months building their new home together, before the first COVID lockdown quickly made it their one and only living destination for half of the year.
Despite this, the pair would forge their way through lockdown with relative ease - passing the time with games, movies, running and copious amounts of food and alcohol.
That’s right! These dumbasses decided it was the perfect time to bring a child into their life. And along came Benji - their eldest-born, spiciest and sexiest of boys. I know, the resemblance is uncanny isn’t it?
Having disrupted their lives about ten times over in three years, Declan and Faith decided now was the time to cash in and begin to really settle down.
In typical DNF fashion, this lasted about five minutes.
Faith decided to pivot careers and become a teacher, while Declan got stuck into his busiest period of work ever, helping to deliver nine television projects in a three-year span.
2021 ~ ‘22 - Kids!?
2023 ~ ‘25 - Settling down
While both were very daunting prospects, the happy couple forged ahead - confident in their shared vision for the future and thankful for all the love and support shown by their amazing family and friends.
